Welcome to Groots! My name Ashley. I am the founder and sole owner of this small local business.  

 

My vegan journey began in 2013, and since making that choice for myself, I have had a deep passion to learn all that I could about natural health. Creating vegan treats is a labour of love, and I thrive on being able to share my creations with others.  

 

All of the Groots vegan chocolates are made from scratch, by me. I make a best effort to locally source as many of the ingredients as possible, as well as using 100% organic, and non GMO ingredients.  

 

Some ingredients Groots uses in a variety of the vegan treats are raw cacao butter, cacao powder, organic Madagascar vanilla, real Nova Scotian-maple syrup, organic dried fruits, & nuts.
